Concierge Treatment

Welcome to a whole new level of service from Dr. Beth Erickson: in-person consultation at your home, office or group anywhere in the English-speaking world. It's the Concierge Treatment.

Features of Concierge Treatment

  • Instead of you coming to Dr. Beth for help, she will go to you or your group.
  • Great for couples, families, or a group of unrelated individuals who wish to focus in on their issues and resolve them relatively quickly.
  • Length of consultations will vary according to the needs of those involved. However, in general, you can expect to meet for two days, for approximately six hours per day, as energy and stamina permit.
  • If the consultation is focused on work with a couple or family, Dr. Beth requires a 60 to 90-minute initial consultation by telephone in order to begin the assessment process.
  • For family and couple meetings, Dr. Beth will work with the family as a whole or a couple together and separately.
  • For family meetings, Dr. Beth also will work with subsystems within the family as well as with individuals.
  • For meetings of a select group of unrelated individuals, Dr. Beth requires a 60-minute telephone consultation with the organizer of the group in order to begin to understand the needs of the group with which she will work. These consultations may either be an evening and the day after, or for two days.

Benefits of Concierge Treatment

  • Narrowing in on issues during a compressed amount of time allows participants to accomplish what would otherwise require three or more months to accomplish in weekly psychotherapy appointments.
  • People meeting with Dr. Beth in Relationship Consultation Groups experience a whole new group synergy. They will have the benefit of role models for successful relating as well as experiencing their own triggers and process as other group participants work on their issues.
  • Couples and families who work together are treated in a holistic manner, rather than singling out the "squeaky wheel" in the family.

Who Benefits from These Treatment Modalities?

  • Those whose time is limited. The narrow focus allows individuals to work on the process required to make significant changes.
  • Those who have become alienated from their family and who want to bridge the gap.
  • Couples in crisis who need a strong and pointed intervention in order to head off disaster.
  • Couples on the brink of divorce.
  • Groups of co-workers, friends, or strangers who would benefit from doing their own work so they and other group members may learn, and vice versa.
  • Groups of people who wish to network and to create and maintain a caring community.
